Capital Improvement Program CommitteeThe Capital Improvement Program Committee (CIP) includes two members from the Planning Board, two members from the Budget Committee,two citizen members and the Selectmen's liaison. The committee meets during the summer months to update and review the Town's Six Year CIP plan. The plan being worked on now include the years: 2009-2014. The primary goal is to keep the tax rate stable by planning ahead for large purchases (non-budget items) in excess of $5,000, that have a useful life of at least 3 years and are non-recurring expenditures.
